Zoetis is the world leader in animal health. With offices and facilities across the globe brimming with colleagues who are as fulfilled as they are driven, the brand’s challenge is not retaining talent — once you’re in, you’re in.
Zoetis came to us because they wanted to share with prospective hires just how meaningful a career in animal health at Zoetis can be. Specifically, The Mixx was engaged to develop a strategic communications platform to translate Zoetis’s employee value proposition externally, improve brand recognition as a recruiter of choice, and facilitate global talent acquisition.
The central challenge was to create a campaign system which was true to the Zoetis brand, while appealing to a wide range of markets and job types. Our platform focuses on the people of Zoetis, their individual personalities and purpose, and the impact they have on animals, the world, and their own lives.
By showcasing Zoetis’s purpose as an amalgam of what drives its thousands of colleagues globally, we invited prospective hires to picture themselves as a member of the team — fulfilling both their needs and the greater good. It was important for our team to develop a campaign that spoke to both salaried and hourly employees, each of whom have different motivations and wants in their job.
We traveled the world from Kalamazoo, Michigan to Dublin, Ireland to capture the best part of Zoetis: its people. Driven by passion and love for their jobs, Zoetis employees range from home office heroes to laboratory geniuses to production line powerhouses — and don’t forget about the furry friends who walk the halls on the daily!
