The SNIF Tag was the first pet accessory that utilized both real-time and online technology to enrich a dog owner’s relationship to his/her pet through tracking their dog’s daily activities and social encounters.  We developed a unique brand extension and an alpha and beta test strategy to roll out the product coast-to-coast. The technology behind the pet product has since transformed into an essential tracking tool for human healthcare.

A full suite of original photography, pet-friendly messaging and bold illustrations were created to fully realize the brand. Driven by the brand imagery and messaging, we started with a direct mail and email response campaign. The approachable and sophisticated brand identity helped attract investors to this innovative product.

Innovative packaging for an innovative product

The SNIF Tag was made to be stylish, cool and cutting edge. The packaging design needed to reflect these same attributes. A custom designed package with engaging graphics and printing techniques was created to house the 
SNIF Tag, its interchangeable faceplates and base station.

Tools for the field and the park

For the product launch, a comprehensive kit was developed for field reps to build awareness and drive sales online. The kit included screen-printed T-shirts and bags to be handed out at events, portable banners to be used in the community as well as one-sheeters, a style guide, e-blast templates and additional give-aways.
